VOLUNTEERS are needed at a youth centre on Colchester’s St Anne’s estate.
St Anne’s Community Centre, in Harwich Road, used a £40,000 grant to employ youth workers for a cafe.
The centre runs two youth clubs on Fridays – one for seven to 11-year-olds and one for youngsters aged 11-plus.
Serena Cobden, manager at the Oak Tree Centre, said: “We have two years of funding for the youth cafe, in partnership with Essex Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs.
“We are attracting over 60 youngsters each week and we are always on the lookout for more volunteers.”
