ONE in five children in Colchester are living in poverty, according to a charity.
End Child Poverty released figures for every part of the country.
When housing costs are included 21.4 per cent of children in the borough are below the poverty line - or about 5,800 children.
The highest in Essex is Tendring with 28.62 per cent.
The lowest is Brentwood at 15.76 per cent.
One in four families are in the low income bracket.
