STUDENTS celebrated in style as they received their degrees at Colchester Town Hall.
About 400 graduates from Colchester Institute, dressed in mortar boards and robes, were presented with their degrees.
An honorary degree was presented to Jeremy Spake, a former Braintree College student who found fame in the trailblazing reality show Airport.
About a tenth of the college's 12,000 students now study Higher Education programmes in degree courses.
