Mersea: Man overboard alert investigated
A MAN overboard alert was issued to rescue crews at Mersea.
The island’s coastguard rescue team and the Thames Rescue Co-ordination Centre investigated the satellite system alert on Saturday evening.
But investigations determined the alert was false as all the crew were safely ashore.
