Tributes have been paid to a "wonderful and loving" teenager who died in a crash in the Lake District.
Jake Knott, who was 15 and from East Bergholt, was on holiday with his family when his bike was involved in a collision with a van at Mecklin Beck, Santon Bridge, Holmrook.
He was flown to Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary with severe head, neck and spinal injuries but was later pronounced dead.
Jake’s family released a tribute to him.
It said: "Jake was a keen footballer, cyclist and sportsman, a good friend to so many and an absolutely wonderful and loving son.
“Jake had a gentle but competitive nature, an infectious laugh, cheeky smile and a sharp and witty sense of humour."
