Football fans are being urged to plan their journeys to away matches ahead of payment changes at the Dartford Crossing.
Starting in October, drivers will pay in advance or by midnight on the day of crossing the toll, rather than stopping at the barriers.
The new policy is intended to reduce congestion and ease traffic flow.
Colchester United general manager Tim Waddington said: “We may have to cross Dartford for at least three away games this season and I would therefore advise all fans to be mindful of the changes so they can avoid getting unnecessary fines.”
