Overwhelming opposition to a business's expansion could force the plan to be shelved.

The owners of Wrabness Storage Depot, in Wheatsheaf Lane, want to be allowed extra outside storage on the site.

However, the plan has raised fears among villagers that more lorries would come through quiet rural roads.

The issue will be resolved on Tuesday when Tendring Council's development control committee meets to make a final decision.

So far, a total of 64 letters of objection have been received by the council, as well as one from North Essex MP Bernard Jenkin.
