Essex pop-punk band Koopa have hit out at Radio One bosses who they claim are refusing to play their record.
Joe Murphy and brothers Ollie and Stu Cooper, who make up the band, cannot believe that after making chart history the country's national radio station still will not play their song, Blag, Steal and Borrow, on some of their prime time shows.
Joe, bassist and singer with the group, of Colchester, said: "We know Steve Lamacq has played it but then he's a Colchester boy himself and supports new music and we heard Fearne Cotton has played it too but none of the others will touch it."
A Radio One spokesman said: "If a track is in the Top 40, that doesn't mean it is guaranteed to make the playlist.
