A cavernous DIY warehouse could stand empty for years to come, it has emerged.
Property agents revealed today there was no immediate pressure to find a new tenant for the GlynWebb site in St Andrew's Gardens, Colchester, as rent is set to be paid until 2009.
The store closed down - putting about 20 staff out of work - shortly before its parent chain went into administration before Christmas.
