African drums and orchestral music have entertained children during a performing arts week.
The youngsters at Prettygate Infant School, Colchester, have been taking part in workshops as part of the themed week.
They worked on a symphony with professional musician Matt Simpkins, took part in African dance and drumming masterclasses provided by a London company and watched performances by Suffolk teacher Jeremy Pentreath and his family.
