A charity which helps vulnerable children and the elderly in Romania is still going strong despite a fire last year.
Frinton-based charity Haven in Romania was devastated last year when the store building for its stock went up in flames.
The Cowdray Centre in Colchester, a home for more than 50 businesses, caught fire destroying many retail units.
Haven in Romania used the centre to store collections of clothes, toiletries, sweets and other items before they were taken over to Romania to be given to those in need.
- Any donations to help with funding a storage room or the retirement home in Romania, please contact Sylvia Brown at The Bungalow, Kino Road, Walton or e-mail info@haveninromania.co.uk
