A LONG-AWAITED major facelift of a town swimming pool could be finished by October.
Work on the £900,000 upgrade at Dovercourt Swimming Pool started last month following years of campaigning to upgrade the site.
Mark Platt, cabinet member for leisure services, and Tendring Council leader Mick Page both visited the site in Low Road for a quick look round.
“Things have certainly changed in the past few weeks since I was last here and significant visible progress is being made,” Mr Platt said .
