Woman cut free from car after Wivenhoe crash

A WOMAN in her 60s has been taken to hospital after a three vehicle crash in Wivenhoe.

Police, paramedics and fire crews were called to Belle Vue Road, Wivenhoe, at about 1.20pm today.

The woman was cut free by firefighters, because of a pre-existing medical condition, before being taken to Colchester General Hospital at about 2.45pm as a precaution.

A silver Mercedes, black Hyundai and grey Renault Laguna collided at low speed.
