COUNTY Hall is releasing £1million of emergency funding to tackle road flooding across Essex.
Each district is being asked to identify five hotspots for urgent action.
Work could include clearing culverts and removing debris.
Rodney Bass, county councillor for highways and transportation, is calling on other authorities to play their part
