A CAFE owner claims repair work to the pavement outside his business has cost him thousands of pounds in lost trade.
Lee Parkes, 46, who runs the Tea Rose Cafe, in Sir Isaac’s Walk, Colchester, has spent the past two weeks watching customers walk past his door because of county council workmen carrying out repairs.
He says trade is disrupted between 11am and 4pm – his busiest hours.
