Might as well have a black and white TV, the only stuff semi worth watching are the repeats of old shows, the modern stuff is just 'reality' TV, cooking programmes and house renovation.

The rather obvious difference being that there is an OFF button. Have you read 1984 recently? People throw around the term "Big Brother" very easily, but I would say there are many aspects of tech as we enter 2014 which put power back in the hands of the ordinary person. In the fictional 1984, you wouldn't be posting on this forum....

last year in December actually.

Its not an off button is it ? all it does is turn off the screen and the sound .not the motherboard or the network connection on the so called smart TV's ....the rest is all still live. However you're quite correct about the fictional 1984, so let us all prey that the ToryBoys don't turn what's left of our civil liberties into a Thatcherite nightmare.

so just keep calm read the Daily hate Mail and watch strictydownton with extra Brucey or Harry Hills "cats do stupid things" ... that's what the govt want you to do .... oh and spend your minimum wage in Sainsasdaco.

you know its all true the ministry says you've never had it so good
