Firefighters were tasked to cut a woman out of a car after a two-car crash on the A12 this morning.
Fire crews from Witham and Chelmsford were called to the scene at 10.36am today on the northbound carriageway of the A12 between junctions 20B Hatfield Peverel and junction 21 Witham.
The woman was freed by 11.46am and was left in the care of the ambulance service with minor injuries.
Police closed the road due to a large amount of debris.
One lane was opened at 12pm.
