A CONSULTATION into planned cuts to the county’s youth service has been flooded with responses.
More than 2,500 surveys and emails have been sent to Essex County Council after it revealed plans to axe £3 million from the service next year.
The proposals, which will see the department run on just £2.1 million per year down from £12 million a few years ago and the current £5 million, have come under fire from opposition groups.
