Detectives in Essex have been drafted in to hunt for a serial killer after the bodies of two more women were found in Suffolk.
The grim discovery made by a walker near Ipswich brings the tally of dead women found in the area to five.
The victims include three prostitutes - one of whom was 24-year-old Anneli Alderton.
An undisclosed amount of officers from Essex Police are now expected to cross the border and help their Suffolk counterparts investigate the murders, as police sources admit they are now in the midst of a massive murder investigation.
A Suffolk Police spokesman last night confirmed extra resources were being sourced, although the amount of officers and the timescale of their involvement was not known.
