A multi-million pound leisure facility in Clacton will change the face of health and fitness on the coast, it has been claimed.
A Sport England survey revealed Tendring had the lowest number of people regularly taking part in sport and recreation in the east of England.
Council bosses hope a £2 million investment in a project at Clacton Leisure Centre will get residents out of their armchairs.
They flocked to an exhibition organised by Tendring Council to get their first look at the future of health and fitness.
