The jury in the case of alleged firebomb attacks on two detectives' homes was due to retire today to consider its verdict.
Angelo Debono, 31, Jamie Brett, 20, and Jason Eagles, 22, all of Clacton, are accused of carrying out the petrol bombings on January 28.
The defendants deny attempted murder and arson with intent to endanger life.
One of the detectives, Det Insp Michael Ornellas, was in court yesterday to hear the judge's summing up as the three-week trial at Ipswich Crown Court draws to a close.
