Popular pooch Susie has been voted winner of the Evening Gazette Christmas Pet Idol 2006 competition.
The two-year-old jack russell and yorkshire terrier-cross is so admired by other dog lovers that her owners, Jerry and Anna-Rose O'Donnell, have even been offered £1,000 for her.
But they're not letting their mischievous friend go.
"I wouldn't sell her for one million pounds," said Mr O'Donnell, of Jameson Road, Clacton.
Susie beat 146 other dogs, cats, hamsters and birds, with the most votes received out of the hundreds cast via telephone and text.
