He's a member of People First in Colchester - a group which helps adults with learning difficulties speak up for themselves.
Today, every word was set to count when he chatted with Prime Minister Tony Blair at 10 Downing Street.
William, who has Down's syndrome, was heading to London to tell the Blairs about his work in the voluntary sector.
