An animal rescue centre has launched an appeal for help as it bids to reopen full time.
Wildlives Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre in Thorrington has not taken new admissions since earlier this year when owner Rose Catford was diagnosed with cancer.
Despite undergoing treatment since July, she has continued to run the centre with volunteers and it still has more than 100 resident animals.
The Frating Road centre plans to fully reopen as soon as possible but it gets no official funding and needs cash to pay for a full-time employee.
- Anyone who can help should call Wildlives on 01206 251174.
