Former U's footballer Dale Tempest's 16-year-old son has died in a car crash.
Michael Tempest died, along with two sixth-form friends, in a two-car incident on the A58 near Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
A 20-year-old man arrested in connection with the deaths has been bailed pending further inquiries, police said.
Dale Tempest was a U's striker from 1987 until 1989. He also played for Fulham, Huddersfield Town and Gillingham before moving to Hong Kong, where Michael was born.
