An elderly Coggeshall couple are virtually housebound because the paths at the front and back of their house are impassable.
John and Wilhemina Drake, who are in their 80s and both RAF veterans wounded in action, have been trying for more than a year for help to get the paths outside their Tey Road home repaired.
But both Braintree Council and Essex County Council say they cannot help because the Drakes own the land.
