Police have held a crackdown against people committing driving offences.
About 30 officers from Essex Police, along with police staff, special constables and representatives from other enforcement agencies, joined forces in accident and crime hotspots, as part of Operation Steel Guard, on Friday.
The aim of the operation, across Braintree and Chelmsford, was to raise awareness of the factors that contribute to crashes and loss of life.
A total of 18 tickets were issued to drivers for using mobile phones, 13 for excess speed, and 79 for not wearing a seatbelt.
