Two clubbers from Colchester were shot in a night of horror which left another man dead from a stab wound and a fourth victim injured.
Police launched an investigation after the attacks at Zest nightclub, Ipswich, early on Saturday morning.
Essex Police revealed two teenagers who had been at Zest had returned home to Stanway before being taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital's accident and emergency unit.
An 18-year-old had been shot in the leg and the second man, aged 19, had gunshot wounds to the arm. They were allowed home yesterday and interviewed by police.
