POLICE have issued an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a sexual assault in Clacton.
Officers are investigating a report that a woman in her 40s was approached by a man in Bluehouse Avenue as she walked to the shops.
It is alleged that the man grabbed her by the shoulders and sexually assaulted her, before running off at about 8pm on August 6.
The victim, who is from the Clacton, area, was left with a bruise to her shoulder.
Investigating officer, PC Graham White, said: "This would have been a distressing incident for this woman, and I would strongly urge everyone to look very closely at this e-fit.
“If you recognise the man pictured I would urge you to contact police as soon as possible.”
The suspect is described as Asian, aged 40 to 50, with black hair, a chubby face, and slight stubble on upper lip. He had bushy eyebrows and was wearing a pink coloured button up shirt.
Anyone with information is urged to call PC White at Clacton, on 101.
