A DRIVER needed hospital treatment after she lost control of her car and it crashed into traffic lights.
The woman was driving her car along Clinghoe Hill in Colchester at 1.30 pm when the accident happened.
Paramedics were called and the woman was taken to Colchester General Hospital for treatment to what were described as minor injuries.
Police officers had to close the busy road for 90 minutes while workers with the Highways Agency fixed the traffic lights.
