POLICE have appealed for witnesses after a secluded country house was raided by thieves.
The burglars broke into the house in Ray Lane, Ramsey, by forcing their way through a secured front door.
They raided the home taking a large screen TV, a suround-sound audio system, champagne bottles, jewellery and designer perfume.
They also stole a green Range Rover which was parked outside the property.
The break-in happened between Tuesday, July 16 and Saturday, July 20.
A forensic examination of the house was conducted along with house-to-house inquiries.
Anyone with information in connection with this burglary is urged to contact detectives at Clacton police station on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
