THE A12 near Colchester will close overnight on Thursday and Friday while resurfacing work takes place.
The Highways Agency will carry out repairs on the southbound carriageway between junction 29 and junction 26 between 8pm and 6am on both nights.
Drivers will be diverted along Ipswich Road and the A133.
Southbound entry slip roads at junction 27 and 28 will also be closed.
