A SCHOOL which is closing next year is to hold a series of events to commemorate its history - and celebrate its achievements.
Alderman Blaxill School will close next summer as falling pupil numbers mean it is no longer viable.
But associate head teacher Phil Jones and chairman of governors Barbara Williamson said the school wanted to ensure it commemorated the occasion.
It is hoping to hold reunions for former pupils, teachers and governors as well as an exhibition of old photographs and memorabilia.
And it appealing to anyone with an association to get in touch.
* If you have any old pictures or memorabilia or would like to be included in any events, please contact the school but calling into the main reception or by emailing admin@blaxill.net.
