POLICE are investigating after a car drove into a wall near Colchester town centre at 3am this morning.
Police and paramedics were called to Mersea Road, near St Botolph's Roundabout and found a blue Renault Clio with two occupants.
One, a 22-year-old man from Colchester, was rushed to hospital with serious leg injuries.
He was arrested at Colchester General Hospital on suspicion of a number of driving offences.
The other occupant was not hurt.
