TALENTED town arts groups will put on a new free festival in Colchester next week.
The first Colchester Lightbulb Festival will kick off with a poetry showcase at the V Bar on the High Street next Thursday.
Over the following four days various venues will host contemporary music, film literature, spoken word, alfresco displays and classical music.
The events have been funded by the European Union’s Cure project through Colchester Council, and from crowdsourced funding via Indiegogo.
