A TEENAGER will next weekend lean off the edge of a 1,168 foot tall tower to support the charity which helped her grandmother in her final days.
Anna Macfarlane, 18, will fly out to Toronto, Canada to walk around the edge of the CN Tower in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The charity helped Anna’s family care for grandmother Maisie Clarke for two years before she died in April 2008, aged 82.
Anna, of Bluebell Way, said: “My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer’s and we decided as a family to look after her at home.
Anna hopes to raise £350 sponsorship for the Alzheimer’s Society.
