Charlotte Edmonds is obviously a young schoolgirl who knows her plies from her pas de deuxs.
The year five pupil, who attends Holmwood House School, Colchester, has been picked to dance in a new production of The Secret Garden.
She beat hundreds of young ballerinas for a part in the show, which is being put on by the London Children's Ballet Company at the Peacock Theatre, London, next May.
Charlotte, who has been dancing since she was four, trains with Hayley Palmer at Elite Dance Works, and earlier this year won the award for best young dancer for the English Youth Ballet's production of The Nutcracker.
