A parade of shops has become an official no-go zone for problem teenagers.
Police yesterday brought into effect a tough new dispersal order that gives officers powers to order anyone they suspect of causing mischief to move away from stores in Hunwicke Road, on Colchester's Greenstead estate.
It is the latest weapon to be unveiled as part of a concentrated effort to combat youth nuisance at the well-known troublespot.
CCTV has been installed so anyone committing an offence will be caught on camera.
