A crime watch group is campaigning to reopen a youth centre in an Essex town.
The youth club, which met at the Phillip Road centre in Wivenhoe, was shut down some years ago after problems with funding from Essex County Council.
Since then, the Wivenhoe Community Safety Neighbourhood Watch Group has been campaigning for it to reopen and give young people a place to meet.
It is due to be discussed at a meeting of the group today, at 7pm, at Wivenhoe Town Council offices.
