Fire crews tackle blaze at West Mersea flat
THREE people have suffered smoke inhalation following a flat fire.
Firefighters were called to the fire in a third floor flat in Shears Crescent in West Mersea on Saturday evening.
Crews tackled the blaze wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel.
Oxygen has been administered to the casualties - one man and two women- and they have been placed in the care of the ambulance service.
