A TODDLER was taken to hospital after being knocked down in Colchester.
The three-year-old boy was in Fallowfield Road when he was hit by a car.
Police and paramedics were called.
Fortunately the boy was not seriously injured and was taken by ambulance to Colchester General Hospital as a precaution.
The crash took place just after 8.30am today.
