AROUND 1,500 children from across Colchester will get safety advice during a series of events at Weston Homes Community Stadium next month.
Classes of Year 6 pupils will take part in Crucial Crew events, where they will learn about rail and road safety, anti-social behaviour, cyber-bullying, fire safety and drugs and alcohol between June 3 to 14.
The aim is to offer valuable safety advice before youngsters start secondary school.
The event, supported by local authorities, is funded by the Community Safety Partnership.
