A WOMAN had to be cut from her car when she collided with another vehicle.

The crash happened on New Road, Mistley, on Tuesday night, February 5.

Crew from two Manningtree fire engines went to the scene at 6.25pm to release the female.

She was free by 6.45pm and taken to Colchester General Hospital with minor back injuries.

Just like recent pictures of police cars that "attended" accidents, (using the same stock photograph), the Gazette has done it again!!

Here is a picture of a nice fire engine, on a glorious clear sunny day, attending an accident on Tuesday night!

If you can't print an authentic picture, for goodness sake, don't print one at all. It detracts completely from a serious story.

I think we all know what a fire engine looks like anyway.
