WIVENHOE’S High Street lit up with a fanfare at the Christmas light ceremony.
Town mayor Penny Kraft switched on the rows of festive lights spreading Christmas spirit along Wivenhoe’s central thoroughfare.
Christmas gifts of all shapes and sizes, including jewellery and crafts, were on sale at stalls in St Mary’s Church which was packed for the event on Thursday.
