A school is expecting a critical Ofsted report which could plunge it into special measures.
The John Bramston School, in Spinks Lane, Witham, was inspected in October and has received a draft report. The report is believed to recommend the secondary school be placed in special measures.
Principal Ted Rowley hopes to receive a final version next week. He said: "We obviously intend to look very closely at whatever comments are made and will be working as hard as we possibly can to improve things."
