Col U players visit hospice patients

HOSPICE patients had a pleasant surprise when two Col U players dropped in to visit.

U’s defenders Matt Heath and Brian Wilson took time out from training to visit the St Helena Hospice inpatient unit at Myland Hall, Highwoods.

The surprise visit saw the players presenting one of the current patients with a signed Colchester United ball and goody bags for their three young sons on behalf of the club. The players also entertained patients and their families with their football knowledge and stories.
