Disabled West Ham fan Barry O'Connell has given the red card to train operators.
Since he broke his back in three places and was paralysed, he has to use the train service to get to the team's ground at Upton Park.
Mr O'Connell, 60, of Saxstead Drive, Clacton, needs help to get on and off trains and telephones ahead to organise assistance at stations. But on more than one occasion when he arrived, there has been nobody there to help him.
A spokesman for train operators One promised to look into the matter and Mr O'Connell. Network Rail, which runs the country's largest stations, including Liverpool Street, said: "We are constantly working to improve access for our disabled passengers at the stations we run."
