Embarrassed speed camera bosses have been given a taste of their own medicine after one of their engineers was caught red-handed breaking traffic rules.
This photo shows a workman parked on double yellow lines as he puts a new film in a speed camera on a busy Colchester road.
Motorist Chris Crockford, 34, snapped the technician as he switched films.
Speed camera bosses admitted the worker was in the wrong, but said they were using contractors that day to cover for staff shortages.
