A worried mother has raised child protection fears over plans to rent out a house in the grounds of a school.
The caretaker's bungalow at Home Farm Primary School, in Lexden, Colchester, is being advertised to let for £625 per month.
Headteacher Mo Oliver today said any future tenants at the property, which is not required by the current school caretaker, would be subjected to Criminal Records Bureau checks.
But the mum said the move could still put youngsters at risk as she claimed guests visiting the three-bedroom home would not be vetted.
