Leisure World gym equipment is up for grabs

LOCAL groups can get their hands on unwanted gymnastics equipment from Leisure World.

The A-bars, vault boxes, springboards, beams, trampettes and soft play equipment is available to the organisation which can prove it will increase the availability of gymnastics classes in Colchester.

For an application form, email ian.duggan@colchester.gov.uk by December 21.

If this equipment is still serviceable and safe, why is Leisure World getting rid of it? Just to make sure they spend every penny in the budget for new kit?
But anyway, if the stuff goes to other gymnastics clubs etc, we should be happy with that.

These are the instruments of torture of the youth. Just the name vault box is enough to trawl up unhappy memories of gymnastic inability!

Burning is too good for these things, I want them burned, shredded, mashed, boiled and then burned again for good measure. If they would allow me to buy these and then do that, I would happily do so. :)
